F cabin blinds down on take off
I also like the blinds to be up but have noticed that on AA they are often left down for take off.

Part of the reason why crew put them down is to reduce sun coming in and thus cabin temperature.

I always thought they had to be up for take off and landing just like the cabin lights had to be dimmed.
