The question I would ask is, how much time do you and your staff spend trying to book your travel?

How often do you need to extricated from travel nightmares?
I really spend far too much time on bookings. This is due to a combination of wanting to get a good deal at the best price and maximising FFP benefits. I am not sure how to explain to one of my staff that I want to take a more expensive option because the FFP benefits will help fund my family holiday. Maybe this is better handled by an external TA.
I have not had to many major problems in 2014. Only 2 major delays which required hotel stays both paid for by the airline. Thats out of about 80 sectors so probably below average?
