UA no longer uses T6.

This sounds like a standard domestic to domestic connection at LAX, using T7/T8, If flights are ontime , should be no issue. Likely a T7/T7 connection but if T7/T8 change is involved, then you will need to proceed directly to gate and there will be no time for stops or the UC.
