Better shops will keep rings from non-Cuban brands and put them on your Cubans. That is what I have done when bringing them back from the UK or Canada.

Or just get some cheap cigars along with the cubans and swap the labels and hide your cuban labels so you can put them back on when you get home. Done it with no problem.
