I flew on the EY A380 a few days ago and the lounge bar is very cozy. There is a curtain separating the lounge from business class (unlike the VS Upper Class bar which doesn't have any partition separating it from business class.)

I think your seat 16K is fine and the 14K one gkl suggested is fine as well. Just don't get any seat in the 8th row.

I looked at the Etihad seat map and I would have sat in row 22A/K as well but if there is a baby onboard, you'll most likely sit near them. I think your choice of 16K is fine.
