Copa just expanded from their hub to David, Panama which is by the Costa Rican border. What will it take for them to add a route of david - San jose which is a mini hub and then David - Bogota which connects them to Copa Colombia? The presidents announced that commerical flights will start between Rio Hato, Panama (a new resort area airport) and Bogota but no further announcements of when or who.

Or these routes with avianca or taca? All being in the star alliance makes it very crowded and not sure how much of the pie each airline wants to give up. There is no sense in more than one airline flying these routes.
