The easiest thing to do would be to book your next RT fare as two one-way fares. You can use 3 gift cards + 1 credit card for the departing leg and your last gift card + 1 credit card for your return leg (or 2 GC+1 CC and 2 CG+1 CC, whichever works best for the total cost of the fare).

This is probably what I'll do. I appreciate the thorough walkthrough. I'm buying 3 tickets, so I should have plenty of space to use them if I buy them all separately, I just want to ensure we all end up on the same plane.


I was just curious if I could say buy a ticket, and then get a refund for the 3 or 4 gift cards used on it back as a single gift card or something.
