Some of the ski resort towns don't deliver USPS to houses or businesses and require delivery to a PO Box. I assume this is the case with Breck Marriott. Fedex or UPS in those towns do deliver to houses and businesses and should have been used instead.

While the FD screwed up, I'm surprised the OP wasn't proactive enough in the afternoon to secure the presents considering its common knowledge the PO is closed on Xmas day. I wouldn't rely on a Marriott worker to fulfill my children's Xmas presents.

And I don't understand the OP's comments on weed. Is he saying there was rampant smoking in common areas and the staff wouldn't tell those people to stop? I find that unlikely they wouldn't say something, and if they didn't a complaint should be filed. If it was outdoors, the staff is unlikely to say something unless its still on Marriott property and affecting numerous guests.
