When I was there just before Christmas, the best whiskies appeared to be Glenlivet 18, Glenlivet 12 or 15 (can't recall), and JW Blue was still there. I'd never tried it not being particularly into blends, but I have to say it was very easy to drink. As my flight was delayed I made sure to have a large glass to max out the value of my £52 flight to EDI.

As I'll be going there quite a lot in the coming year, what I'd really like to see is very frequent rotation, rather than same old same old - in an ideal world they would send somebody out shopping every week! It would make it more fun never knowing what you might get, but I expect that that's not how bulk-buying works.
