"Brad Cohen of Vail, Colorado, pleaded guilty to a reduced misdemeanor charge after stiffing all the clients of Costa Rica-based Real Casino. Another company purchased the customer list but failed to pay any of the Real Casino customers monies owed, including post up. Real Casino no longer exists, not even in a reincarnated version. Brad Cohen, who is not related to Jay Cohen, is the 29-year old Marketing school graduate son of a prominent Kansas City real estate agent, Roger Cohen. The father runs one of that city's largest real estate agencies, Cohen-Esrey Real Estate Services Inc.. Informaci Real, a fancy Spanish pronunciation of Real Casino, operated in San Jose, Costa Rica since 1996 back during the pioneer days of that Central American country's gaming birth, though Cohen never lived there, instead opting to run the marketing arm of his company from Vail. Revenues at Real grew at a 3% rate according to Cohen prior to his indictment. At the time of Real Casino's closure, the company is believed to have had some 4000 clients pass through their virtual doors.
Talk about "Times they are a changin'" - Cohen's book started off by paying clients on a once a month schedule. He claims they never dealt credit and his operation was 100% legal. Another sad chapter in the world of offshore gaming. Brad Cohen apparently still resides in Vail, his last known address, where he lives high off the hog...squandering away monies derived from player's accounts. Global Intertainment, the company that purchased Netbetz out of Dominica (later becoming Cyberbetz), only purchased the customer list from Cohen for another high dollar amount."
