A .50 cal should have a brass case diameter of 0.804 inches and height of about 5.45 inches. The copper bullet (the part that flies) would be .510 inches
A .300 cal should have a brass case diameter of 0.532 inches and height of about 3.34 inches. the copper bullet would be .308 inches.
