No way for a common traveler to know about this or even what the fare class will be based on ADKRTY.
So for anyone who isn't extra careful to look it up by reading the fare rules or ask the phone agent - no way to tell how many points they will earn.

"normal" people cannot do this even if many of them would be keen to know as well but lack the interest enough to go that deep in FT world or whatever and IMO it is sneaky marketing
