I am also concerned with this as had planned on hitting the $2k limit tomorrow with a reimbursable expense that needs to be made before end of calendar year on one card that doesn't close until 1/6, and another $2k expense on the other card with a close date of 1/26. The purchases I made a couple days ago (finally) posted to my account on Sunday evening (12/28) putting me over the $2k threshold just within the first 3 months since card was approved. My statement closing date is the 23rd of each month. I have scheduled a payment towards the account for January 1st of 2015. If that payment triggers the awarding of the bonus points, I'll be fine with it since it will be 2015 at that point. I'll report back here when bonus points are awarded.
