Angry Avis gives us a 2013 Impala LT and lies that it's brand-new

OK, this is a bit of a rant about Avis. So on Christmas Eve, we arrived in LAX off of UA1205 from KOA at around 9:30PM, and had to drive up to SAN to visit my cousins. We had made a double booking with Avis and Dollar since they only charge you once you show up. We chose Avis, predicting that Dollar would have a long line and release us late. Avis had a huge line with only 3 people manning the desks. It took us like 30 mins to get to the front, and another 15 to speak with an open agent (since one had gone home). So anyway, the agent apologized and got us the car in about 5 minutes. He said that we had a "brand-new Chevy Impala" to which I was thinking, "I actually get a good car, a 2014 or 15 Impala". We went out to where our car was and found a 10th gen (2014 and later) white Impala LT with around 10k miles on it. Satisfied, we drove out, but the guy manning the gate wouldn't let us out, saying that this wasn't our car, that it was a black one. So we drove back and parked the car. We asked the desk agent and he showed us our car - a black 2013 Impala LT with 17k miles, which we all know is an absolute piece of crap compared to the new one. It's not even the decent LTZ, but a bargain-basement LT. My dad told him that this isn't brand new, to which the agent replied that "all the cars on our fleet are 2014 or 15". I then told him that it was a 2013, and he was totally flustered. Dollar might have been better, since we got a factory-new Altima in KOA with only 32 miles on it (I kid you not).
