I asked earlier in this thread about the plan what to do with the data collected, ie would 'likes'/'helpful' be used for anything later on. Like top lists, status and so on, but I didn't really get an answer.

As for Internet Brands, I have no knowledge about how — or if — the company would potentially benefit from the implementation of a “like” button...
