Thanks all. I've just learned that the delay originally was caused by weather in Zurich but the aircraft was heading to LHR. The aircraft then flew to CPH where my friend started her itinerary, so the weather delay was actually two segments back and not the immediately preceding segment. Sounds like that makes the case slightly stronger for reimbursement, but it might be a bit of a fight with BA?
