I'm confused a bit. Did "Santa" not ship the gifts directly to the Marriott? Why was a run to the post office, whether by hotel staff or you, required? Also, if I was Santa's helper I probably would have inquired sooner in the day on the 24th rather than waiting until that evening.

The smoking complaint is valid, whether it be cigarettes or marijuana. No smoking on Marriott property means no smoking. (re: the marijuana & boycotting CO - I'll be offsetting njcommodore because I still intend to ski in CO. Love Vail, Aspen & Snowmass).

I'm stunned re: the medication issue & definitely think that merits a complaint to the GM re: how it was handled. They could have sent a bellman or security up to the room to secure the meds.
