Hello everyone, hoping for some peace of mind, so I thought I'd ask fellow FTers.

Our plans to fly HKG-KIX via FUK, on KA and then JL, have fallen through due to tight loadings.

Backup plan is to go HKG-PVG with KA, and then PVG-KIX with JL. My Canadian passport is expiring in April 2015, and I know its alright for entry into Japan, but what about transiting in PVG. It'll only be a few hours in the airport, and then we hop on our next flight.

Any ideas?
