Trust me, I understand. I may be new to flyertalk, but I am not new to international air travel. My reason for posting is to ask if anyone knows how I can pay to upgrade a U fare on Delta. I am willing to pay, but I do not know how to make that possible as the standard SkyMiles agent didn't think that I could do so with that fare type. There are open seats in Business Elite.
If you can't "upgrade" so to speak, ask about being re-ticketed into a fare class that allows for an upgrade or just change your ticket to a BusinessElite ticket. It may be costly, but they'll sell you a BE seat.
