Maintaining F means a lot more than an extra choice of main or an extra course here and there. The entire service requires a different mindset, training and approach. As the price differential between C and F grows, the question remains as to how many people will pay for it (and I mean paid F, not discounted other than for corporate volume) and whether UA (and AA) want to make the investment on the TPAC routes where they compete with Asian carriers.
