I decided to get my wife a new 22" carry-on for Christmas and decided to give the reincarnated Pathfinder a try.

I have fond memory of the old Andiamo (with several softside pieces still in my collection) and am currently using a late-model Pathfinder 18" trolley. I also looked at TravelPro and Vitorinox but found some faults with those options (mostly reliability, size, and weight). I'm cautiously optimistic about the "Extra Mile" warranty and will hope the company is around to honor it.

First impressions are that the bag is a little tall and deep; advertised dimensions are 22" x 14" x 9" + 2"

I got the cobalt color; too many other black bags are out there. It's a shame the Briggs and Riley olive is so ugly or I might have given them a longer look as I love my U175.

My tape measurements are:

Height = 22.5" (body) 23" standing (with wheels)
Width = 14"
Depth = 8" (body) + 2" (pockets) for a total of 10", without expanding. I think if you take the suiter out, the pockets will compress an inch to make the 9" depth.

This should fit the United Airlines sizer; I will try and confirm it, along with Delta's, in the months to come.

Overall build looks nice; the outside is clean with no protruding handles. The zippers and pulls are high-quality YKK and wheels roll nicely. There's a nice amounts of pocket storage along with the suiter so will see how much it holds versus the older bag it's replacing.
