Thanks all for the responses! I figured $80 was worth it for the upgrade as long as it wasn't intra-Europe style seats but it sounds like they are proper US domestic-style F seats and for a 4 hour flight, $80 is definitely a go.
In spite of the fact that I despise MU, I have to admit that the good seats are MUCH better than US domestic style F.
