Who: Qualified Volvo master mechanic, I work as a Midrange and Mainframe Manager for a top 5 bank. I also am hevily involved with pop culture conventions in Australia and the USA.
When: Last flight of the year on the 28th december LAX->SYD will put me into 1k (flying back home from seeing dad for x-mas)
How: Flying ex Syd on UA mean 7400miles per flight minimum... stuff adds up quick when attending conventions
Where: BKK,KTM,LAX,SFO,RDM,DEN,RIC,IAD,BOS,EWR,RSW,IAH,TM I,ORD,CLE,LAS
Why:The extent of my MR's this year was flying RIC->IAD->LAX->IAH->RSW instead of something more direct
What: UA switching to a $$$ based MP program is going to make me stop flying much UA after Feb28th, I am doing 35k on thai later in 2015, main plan is to be done with UA by end of 2015 and switch to VA, with 2 kids + partner and status pooling it means instant plat for me on VA for a long time to come for much less flying....
