The scheme is very generous and IHG has no requirement to offer such a scheme ; with the overgenerous nature , I am not surprised that IHG has restrictions

The restrictions make sense - in many countries business practice/consumer protection laws would prohibit IHG trying to control pricing by 3rd parties ; also exchange rates change , so what was cheaper one day may not be cheaper the next day

If thinking the terms are BS, then no need to participate
