I suppose that I should simply get some rope (or some type of belts?) and tie it around so that the height (i.e., if the bag lies flat) stays well below the amount needed to accommodate the other dimensions such that the total is under the magical 62". I guess I could just make sure to get one that has the straps to adjust the inflated size.
Or buy a super el cheapo hard side bag and fold your duffle into it.
