Not to cite The Blogs Knowledge again, but I read that you could are typically turned down for 2 exceptions in 5 years, and I only have 1. And
I thought an exception was only if you failed to complete a challenge. Perhaps they got that wrong, too.

Definitely not (bolded portion) Otherwise, I'd say even with the current parameters (which are definitely stricter than the quoted one (and that info came directly from me originally and is about 7 years old)) many people get challenges granted even when maybe not technically qualified regardless, so ask nicely and get off the phone quick (but polite) if it's a no, and maybe ask again.
