LHR-VIE-LHR now pricing at £130 each way for a POUG upgrade for early January departure, always used to be £89 for as long back as I can remember.
So given so much has been enhanced away in CE, particularly the extra legroom it it a resounding NO at these prices BA!! Wouldn't be so bad if it was a marginal increase of say £5 but this is just short of a 50% increase!
Not a chance at these prices!
Same with me: before GBP99 for LHR-VIE or VIE-LHR, now showing GBP130
Absolutly no meaning to upgrade, Exit row Y is the way to travel SH !!
If no decent Y seats available, BA looses my business for that flight(s)
By the way, I have sent a letter of complaint, more a letter of constructive critics in Oct to Customer Relations about the enhancements of Club Europe.
It took them until 23rd of Dec to answer!
Conclusio of their E-Mail: Customers only wish to have the middle seat empty, "more personal space", "with new seats you don`t feel the difference of reduced seat pitch".Maybe correct in row 1 !!!!
