Personally, this new system may not always work out to my benefit but if it thins a completely and ridiculously over-bloated herd of elites I'm good with that. Based my calculations I'm going to do just fine and maybe, just maybe, with fewer elites I'll have a better shot at EC and aisle seats when I have to book a close in ticket..,which I do almost all of the time.
