Here are some pics of the AWAY SUITE

The Away Rooms and Suite are located on the ground level of the hotel, accessed through the spa. There are about 10 of them, divided into Away Rooms, Spectacular Away Rooms and the Away Suite (sometimes named the Away WOW Suite). The Away Suite (there is only the one) is right at the end of the corridor, affording it views of the nearby condos and marina/waterway.

These rooms are meant for couples; there is no getting away from that. As far as I know they only come with king beds, and the layout is such that there is little room for a roll-away. Each room has it's own private plunge pool and deck, and because of that the interior flooring is wood with minimal carpets. The decor is ... well, you'll see my pictures .

The pools are divided from the next by rattan fences though you can still peek below it if you have voyeuristic tendencies. The rooms face the main garden and pool and are shielded from such by a hedge, which has grown nicely now and does a pretty good job. However, it does mean that you can't walk directly to the main pool from your room; you have to go back through the spa/corridor. The plunge pools are also not shielded from above, so most of the guests on higher floors can look right into them...

Each room comes with a wooden trolley with multiple drawers which have always been empty the few times I've seen them. They look like spa trolleys to me so I presume in-room treatments can be ordered.

There is a large guest washroom at the front, and an alcove for luggage and the cupboards. The main bathroom has motorised blinds and looks out onto the marina waterway and the opposite condo. The throne faces outwards towards the windows and it is quite disconcerting because the blinds appear translucent from inside. The hotel has assured me that the windows are opaque from the outside but ...

The Away Suite has to be booked, it is not part of the regular upgrade or SNA pool.
