Too tight for comfort? How long do the Canadian customs officials take?
I haven't ridden this recently, but you'll clear Canadian customs once you're in Vancouver and will have to go through US customs at the airport. Depending on where you are in the train, you could be the first one to clear or the last one.

I'd allow an addition 10 minutes to walk to the Skytrain station and get a ticket, and then there's the issue of what happens if barely miss a train and have to wait for the next one, to say nothing of the distance you'll have to cover by foot at YVR.

Not a trip I would ever take --
