Who: Federal Government attorney who still doesn't book YCA fares on official travel.
When: 1K in early November on a sUA 320 SFO-IAD.
How: Another long haul year, like 2013. one TPAC, 3 TATL, 5 TCONs, fewer short haul.
Where: California (x5), Mexico City (x3), Panama (x2), Miami (x2), Zagreb, Manila, Vienna, Honduras, Costa Rica
Why: Upgrades, Premier Access, keeping MsHalls120 happy.
What: Last year I said "I've probably reached 1K for the last time." Again, so much for predictions. But looking forward to 2015, this time really I expect my usual 50-75K flying that is employer-driven, and absent a big rise in work related travel, I don't see 1K next year - primarily because I expect a job shift in 2015 that will put a crimp in my travel. Last year I noted that I was more optimistic about UA than I was in December 2012, and I was pleasantly surprised to see my CPU rate go up, and I didn't have to give away any of my GPU/RPUs. I still wish UA would serve decent coffee.
