People have reported A and L+A. I haven't looked closely, but have changed these buy-up fares several times without issue. My most recent ones I changed were V- and U-UPDI fares that booked into Z and A, respectively; I changed both, but didn't think to verify whether or not the V- or U- was available (chances are they were).
