You actually points to a major problem with CX regional flights. There are no full beverage service on all regional flights. I flew a few PE flights within Asia (HKG-ICN/HND), and instead of pushing out a drink cart like a normal airline, they just passed around a tray of juices and soft drinks and water. I asked for specific drinks and the F/As were more than happy to come back with the drinks. However, it was an obvious tactic to cut costs and I felt bad for the F/As, who had to run back and forth between galley and cabin.
Next time, please just ask the F/A that you want a particular drink, and they will bring them to you!
Other than cost-cutting, I am not sure why CX can't offer a full beverage service on a three to fours flight in economy.
