US Airways changed my flight time. What are my options?

I have seen some older threads on this subject. Does anyone have any recent data points? I am flying on US Airways PHL-AUA in the near term. US Airways changed my outbound flight by 2 hours, 10 minutes later and my return by only a few minutes. The thing is that there are no good options for me and my wife to move the outbound, but we could change the return by a day, if allowed. I called Reservations to express my concern of the change, but was met with an unfriendly representative who said the return could not be changed without me changing the outbound. The length of the trip had to be the same according to her (10 days). This made no sense to me.

That said, I had a similar flight change about a year ago on US Airways and they were very accommodating. Is there something in the policy that has changed?

I essentially want to extend my trip by a day because I'm losing much of the afternoon on the first day.
