BA Galleries First Lounge, IAD
While I try to avoid flying out of Dulles when I can, it was the easiest option for this trip. Fortunately, we parked and were through security in less than 30 minutes...possibly a record for me here.
Thankfully, you don’t need to ride the moon buggies to get to BA’s gates at IAD. A short airport train ride later, we left the chaotic terminal and entered the calm, quiet Galleries F lounge.
Knowing that we’d want to sleep on the flight, our first stop was at the Concorde Dining Room for dinner.
A proper dining room with table service.

The menu looked pretty good, and the food ended up being better than what we’d later eat in the original Concorde Dining Room at LHR.
Washed down with a well-made Manhattan.
I took a quick walk around the non-F side of the lounge to snap some photos, and then settled in for 30 minutes or so before it was time to head over to our gate for boarding.
