I had previously downloaded the GoGo Videoplayer onto my Samsung tablet. I could access the GoGo site with Firefox (my default browser) but kept getting error messages that my device wasn't compatible. My seatmate, using an iPad, was getting error messages using a different browser. (Safari, perhaps? I can't recall.) The 2 fellows behind us in row 3 were also having problems getting logged in.

Eventually I was able to get it up and running using Chrome to access the GoGo site on my Android device - apparently that's the "trick."

From that point on it was smooth sailing. Same thing for seatmate - once he switched to the iPad specific browser he was able to stream with no problems. Nice selection of content, much broader than the digeplayers. My only complaint is that it's more difficult to fast-forward or rewind as compared to the old digeplayers.
All of these reports about the system being "finicky" to log-into or screens freezing up are all still a bit concerning. Yes, us FTers are excited to try out the new entertainment system and will install whatever it takes and try multiple ways to log-in regardless of how long it takes or how many different error messages we receive. However, people like my mom (who just recently got a smartphone and is still trying to figure out how to use it or myself who just got a smart phone a year ago despite being what I consider "young") are not going to have the patience or background knowledge to deal with all these tech issues that may seem simple to someone who buys the latest Apple product every time it's released, but I can see my mom sitting there trying to figure out what a "plug-in" is and saying "forget it".

Despite the more limited content, the DigE players were extremely user friendly and required almost zero tech knowledge to operate (evidence: my mom was able to easily operate one the very first time it was put in her hands).
