The underlying fraud of stealing an E+ seat has nothing to do with this. The Captain, as is well within his legal authority, ordered her off the aircraft. She refused. The police were called. They directed her off the aircraft. She refused. So, she was arrested.

If a lawful crewmember order is given, you don't get to contest it by disobeying it. Or, if you do, you pay the price.
