The hotel and timeshares on Singer Island are some of the best Marriott beachfront locations in Florida.
the Marriott hotel actually opened as a member of the Luxury Collection with many villa type rooms...unfortunately this was shortly before the great recession and it struggled before ultimately failing, a new developer (I think from MIA) stepped in and the rest is history (I'm not sure exactly how they are handling the villa's that were sold as time shares but I'd imagine those owners haven't seen much of a difference except for the name on the side of the building)
