We have been three times to Bali with our son. First time he was 2,5 years old and we stayed almost two weeks at the (back then) Ritz Carlton in a huge cliff villa with private pool. 2nd time our son was 6,5 and we spent 4 night at Amandari and 6 nights at at FS Jimbaran, both pool villas. Finally we went again with son then 9,5 years old splitting 12 nights between Amankila and Amanusa, again both pool villas. All in all I can say that all these hotels are child friendly, but only the RC and the FS offered kids club and were hotels where we met other families with kids that our son could play with. However, also the Amans had kids friendly activities and food, but were much more quiet. We preferred the Amans overall, but our son is pretty quiet and "well behaved" so it really depends on your kids. Feel free to pm me for further questions or read my trip reports here at FT.
