I've been looking through the threads re this and am still torn between which resorts to choose for our 6 night stay in July.
We are a family of 5 (8 and 6 year old boys with a 10 month old girl). Never been to an Aman. Adults want some R and R (DH needs a gym with weights and pool) whilst the boys love swimming and are very social ie love to have company with other kids.
We would like to split our stays between a beachside setting (not necessary to be right on the beach) and the countryside to get a feel of what Bali was like before mass tourism.
Toss up between staying at FS Jimbaran Bay/Sayan and Amanusa/Amandari/Amankila or a combination of these. Are 2 nights too short to stay at each of the 3 Aman properties and better to have 3 nights in 2 Amans? We arrive very late on the first day so I'm leaning towards staying at either nusa or Jimbaran first and moving to the other resorts later.
What would you recommend? Thanks in advance.
