So I'm sure your are fine with the FAA see that post, then contacting the adminstrators of this site tiger your contact info and if they care enough, your IP address. FAA would love to know how you got in that cockpit without proper credentials.

The FAA would have no jurisdiction or interest as this would involve a non US airline between non US cities over non US airspace. The world (luckily) does not revolve around the FAA however fortunately not one of the airlines you've deemed 'unsafe' by your system of assessment.

The phrase "get a room" comes to mind.
Indeed. I imagine the rails were lost around the time it became impossible for US airlines to have accidents.

One of the major selling points of AA's recent PR has been that 'new plane smell'. If the new seats are as bad as you wrote, this is very disappointing. I remember when LH made the switch from the old, more 'plush', seats to the slim-line seats and the difference was awful. Zero padding and super uncomfortable. It was alright for an hour and half Euro flight, but any-thing more than that and you were hurting. Heck, even the DC metro seats are more comfortable. I like AA's 738s and love the old MD80s, but was also looking forward to trying out the new airbuses. After reading this, schedule permitting, it's best to stick with 738s; hopefully with older seats. Sorry, I haven't flown much with AA this year as the vast majority of my flights were on US Air and flights with AA were actually a very welcome change.
The seats would definitely be the same whether they were MCE or Y- though on the newer domestic aircraft the MCE pitch is decreasing along with the reconfigured 738s. It seems as though with each 'enhancement' the seat comfort suffers no matter what cabin it is. The list for comfort should read S80>738>Airbus. As bad as the new LH Euro seats are, I still prefer them to the new AA seats. I've sat on more comfortable stones in my life...
