Etihad F looks superb, although I’m not a fan of the styling of their lounges (aside from the catering). It’s a nice touch to have a separately branded F & J bus in AUH, and their regional business class catering looks superb for a 3 hour flight.
I never thought I’d see you in a Premier Inn! The Shangri-La sure does look quite dated inside, but looks like a comfortable enough base for Kathmandu. I must say the city itself doesn’t grab me as a ‘to-visit’ destination. Pokhara on the other hand looks very interesting, and much cleaner.
‘Rustic’ is definitely the word to describe the domestic terminal at KTM!! The lounge looks… interesting… I believe it is actually illegal to take photographs of airports in India!
Absolutely astounding images from your trek – really brilliant. Was your trek a private tour, or with other people? And what happened to your main luggage while you were trekking?
Thanks for sharing such a different trip ^
