Two questions about priceline --

1. If I make a regular reservation on priceline (not a 'name your own price') will I still get credit for the reservation on my #1 club account? I have 19 reservations this year, and this next one will get me 20 and PC.

2. Why do I get different prices on priceline & Hertz.com? I'm using the same PC and CDP, same base rate, but they are showing different amounts of taxes (to the tune of ~$20). This is for a one week rental at a local (non-airport) Hertz in NYC, if it matters.

In this instance I'm going to rent from hertz.com because I don't want to chance the priceline reservation not counting, but I was curious about #1 and wondering why there was a difference in #2. Thanks.
