We (2 people) are travelling in First and I'm not sure which seats are the best for us. It would be nice if we could see each other and talk during the flight so the obvious choice would be the companion seats.
On the other hand I really like looking out of the window, especially during landing/take off.
- So let's say we choose one window seat and one on the aisle next to it. Would it still possible to talk (over die aisle) ?
- If we go for the companion seat, can I still see a window, or is my view completly blocked by the wall ?

If you have a look at some of the cabin pictures online (Google "A380 first class British Airways) you'll see that you will have to lean forward a bit to chat across the aisle.
However, there is a little buddy seat (which is basically the ottoman) opposite the main seat, where you can invite your companion to dine with you or just chat face to face. I don't believe it would be comfortable for long periods but it's a nice feature to have for a couple.
