I was able to book 2 RL seats TPE-CDG about 7 months out, with 3 more seats in economy. Then about 3 weeks prior to departure, I was able to cancel and rebook as 2 more RL seats opened up, by the time I went to book, only one seat was left. Then a couple of days later another seat opened up, and then a day later 2 more seats opened up.
