I guess you are keen to use your own bikes, but as on occasional visitor there, I know it's relatively easy to get bikes on the island, particularly if you have hard currency to offer. It may be easier to even buy then sell, rather than renting. The bikes there seem to be made in China, and admittedly seem more for 3 to 6 miles a day rather than 10 times that. The road quality is fairly grim however. Traffic is slow moving and infrequent on the whole.

If you want to be very right-on (to coin a phrase) you could take a bike there and leave it with someone or organisation that would appreciate it as a gift. Definitely not my official advice however! I wouldn't wish to be seen encouraging that régime even indirectly.
