Meadowood hotel in Napa Valley with their 3 star michelin restaurant is quite nice! I prefer this hotel in the winter if you get a higher end room, with a fire place! No snow, but a very cozy atmosphere and you could get a rainstorm! We are actually finally having rain in northern California!
My concern with regard to Meadowood is the kid ratio. Is it high? We stayed "next door" at Auberge and drove around to get a look -- lots of children.
