This is FA business. I would not have gone to the galley, just pushed the button, repeatedly if necessary. That said, FAs do not always help. It is after too many occurrences like this that I began flying only business class on international. Of course, most of my flying is for work, so ability to get a good rest is important to being able to function the next day. But every time I hear from someone how virtuous it is to fly only economy, or what a waste of money business class is, I just think back on incidents like this, and know I made the right decision.
