Flying to LHR from JFK on DL then continuing onto a UK domestic flight with BA.

Will I be able to have my bags checked all the way through to my final destination or do I have to collect them in T4 and take them across to T5?

How long would folks suggest for the transfer? Will i have time to use arrivals lounge if getting in at 10:30am and my next flight is at 1pm from T5?
