I find Malmaison & Hotel du Vin do a cracking job of breakfast. Cooked stuff made to order, plus some very fancy pastries and yoghurts on a buffet. ^

Have to agree with others who have questioned how breakfast in the FCL can be seen as best in the UK, mind you...
